Why Bengal Society?

Everyday lac of books are pressed and on the other hand lac of books are thrown away in the bins. Most of the thrown books loses their utility as newer edition arrives. Tons of papers are written and thrown away every day. As well as our plastic pens have an average lifetime of 10-15 days till we throw them through window!
Out of the 17 billion cubic feet of trees deforested each year, over 60% are used to make paper.

This deforestation is responsible for nearly a fifth of the world’s annual greenhouse gas emissions (2018)! Gallons of clean water, ingredients are used to produce paper along with electricity which is mainly produced by coal. What if we could save these massive environmental destruction and continue study & learning! Welcome to new era, welcome to Bengal society.
